Getting Involved and Giving Back

We have a longstanding commitment to bettering our communities by contributing to worthwhile causes and organizations.

We focus our philanthropic efforts on the areas where we operate, providing monetary and in-kind donations to community organizations, academic scholarships, and volunteer opportunities. The organizations we partner with vary by region. Examples include charitable and non-charitable non-profits, schools and educational groups, chambers of commerce, rotaries, youth sports, volunteer fire departments, etc.

Our mission in this work is to improve our communities’ quality of life and serve as a catalyst for employees to become involved. We encourage our team to give back through fundraising and volunteerism and to become leaders in the places where they live and work.

Community Giving Program

Each Green Diamond division provides a variety of monetary and in-kind donations to organizations in our local communities. Contributions typically range from $500 to $5,000 and support a wide range of community activities (e.g., annual fundraisers, community projects, event sponsorships, youth sports teams, Christmas tree and firewood donations, equipment services, etc.) Donation applications are reviewed and processed on a rolling basis.

To submit a donation application, please apply online through our Submittable portal, designed to streamline review and communications processes to more efficiently serve and support our community.

Note: Starting March 1, 2025, Green Diamond is no longer accepting donation requests via email, phone call or mail. We still welcome updates and information through these methods; however, any requests for contributions must be submitted online.

Any community organization in and around our operating areas in Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida may apply. They may be charitable [i.e., 501(c)(3) status] and non-charitable (e.g., professional organizations, chambers of commerce, rotaries, fire departments, etc.)

Most contributions average $500-$1,000 in value, but applicants may apply for up to $5,000.

Donation applications require 2-4 weeks for review and 2-4 weeks for award distribution, so please submit your application 6-8 weeks in advance. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

There is no limit, so you may apply multiple times.

Please submit separate applications for each item. For example, if you would like Green Diamond to submit a $500 sponsorship and a live auction item to an upcoming event, please submit an application for each.
